Il Cerchietto is a project created to promote and spread a lifestyle based on sobriety, recycling, non-waste and solidarity.
Since 2019 it has been part of ‘Infanzia & Incontri’ APS of Torre Boldone.
RULES
In order to use the exchange service it is necessary to become a member of ‘Infanzia & Incontri’ APS by filling in the registration form on site and paying the contribution of 10 € (will be issued a nominal document).
Being a member allows free access to all the initiatives proposed by ‘Infanzia & Incontri’ APS (workshops, reading initiatives ‘La notte dei pupazzi’ and psychomotricity for children 0-5 years old, training events for adults, etc.) for the whole duration of the educational year (1 September – 31 August) and to benefit from the insurance coverage during the activities organised by the association.
The clothes must be clean and in good condition (what you would put on your children), and are assessed and accepted at the discretion of the Cerchietto volunteer.
The clothes that are handed in entitle you to points that can be used to immediately choose other clothes or accessories of ‘equivalent value’, which are awarded as follows
- jackets, shoes and formal wear 5 points
- everything else 1 point
Points are not cumulative and cannot be held in abeyance.
Items brought in for exchange will be made available from the next opening.
At busy times, the exchange can only take place for one size at a time.
Bulky items such as pushchairs, cots, high chairs, etc. will not be collected.
If you are not interested in swapping but have clothes you do not use, you can bring them in and they will be ‘put in the circle’.
Exchange modalities:
The volunteer:
- verifies that the person/household is associated with ‘Infanzia & Incontri’ APS;
- before accepting the clothes, assesses their condition and cleanliness;
- quantifies the score achieved for a maximum of 20 points.
Points must be used immediately, cannot be accumulated and cannot be held in abeyance.
The public is requested to behave as properly and respectfully as possible.
You may not roam freely in the facility.
Dogs are not permitted.
